Venners has been serving the hospitality industry since 1896 and have long been considered the best in the business. Our founder Edwin Venner, a chartered accountant from a brewing family, was knighted in recognition of his services to the licensed trade and we produced our first computerised results as early as the 1960’s.
Today we continue to develop and maintain our own cutting edge technology and systems to support our clients and provide them with a “one stop shop” for improving hospitality profits and controls.
We employ, not subcontract, a nationwide team of consultants who deliver an exceptional level of reporting, advice and service throughout all of the UK and we are the only company of our type to have internal training accredited by the BII.

Trevor joined Venners in 1974 and progressed through the business as Stocktaker, Regional Manager and then Operations Director before being appointed Managing Director in 2002. With unparalleled experience of all stock and audit related matters in Leisure and Hospitality Trevor has been at the forefront in leading the company’s diversification into new operational areas.

Client Service Director
Steve began his career with Venners in the London office before moving into a stocktaking role. Having demonstrated his prowess in the field Steve then established and managed the Midlands office and was promoted to Regional Manager and subsequently Regional Director for the Central region. In 2005 Steve was promoted to Client Services Director and appointed to the Board in 2006.

Operations Director North
Heralding from a Pub and Accountancy background, Scott joined Venners as a stocktaker in 1996 and has progressed through the business, being promoted to Area Manager and then Regional Manager for our Central region before being appointed Director of Tenancy in 2010. In June 2011 Scott was appointed Operations Director North.
John Perry |
Operations Director South
John joined the London office where he worked for 3 years before moving into stocktaking. He was appointed to Area Manager for London and the South East and went on to become Regional Director in 2003. In 2010, John took on the role of Director of Operations and with subsequent business expansion he is now Operations Director South.

Finance Controller
Chris is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong background in Audit. Post qualification Chris worked at Grant Thornton before joining Christie Group in 2008. Chris was later promoted to Group Chief Accountant before being appointed Financial Controller of Venners in July 2011.
