Help yourself achieve the food margins that you set for your business. It can be very difficult to calculate the correct selling price for a particular menu item and just as difficult to ensure that all the prices on your food menu yield a consistent GP%. By using the Venners Menu Coster & Retail Price Calculator takes the difficulty out of the process. Give the menu item a title in the box provided.

Once you have listed all the ingredients and allocated costs to them simply insert the GP% required and click “calculate the order” and it will display the total cost of the item and the retail selling price inclusive of VAT. You can experiment by changing the GP% and clicking “calculate the order” again. Keep a copy for your records by printing it out.
